Aanondogaan

With the people, For the people..

The livelihood status of the tribal community is not in the line with other castes in East Medinipur. Despite living in an integrated society, they are forced to feel isolated due to the unkindness of the caste system in India. Several government projects have helped them to attain a basic standard of living such as food and clothing.

Due to a lack of required education and social awareness and skill, they fail to find suitable alternative jobs during the offseason. Children of these families are deprived in terms of basic amenities of life that are enjoyed by children of affluent families.

Aanondogaan is a project undertaken by the Sharadi Foundation that aims to work for the development and uplift of the tribal community along with other deprived sections of the society in East Medinipur. Our objectives are to create a sustainable and eco-friendly village, where

  • People who will be self-reliant
  • Every child will get a quality education
  • Aged and lonely people will get a sense of security, a home and supports
  • There will be no discrimination among people irrespective of gender, race, job profile
  • All people of Aanondogaan will live in harmony

Aanondogaan is a long-term project with several short-term and mid-term objectives.

Within a very short period, Sharadi has been able to reach some of the Yash affected regions of East Medinipur to provide support in terms of food, clothing and medical needs for 1 month. Despite the fund crunch, we have completed our short-term projects with the help of our supporters and dedicated team members, who truly value human welfare.

Aanondogaan is a dream project that will be implemented in several steps and thus project activities are differentiated into the short, medium and long term.

Further details of the project will be presented soon...!
